Kat began her career in hairdressing at 15 before obtaining her NVQ and leaving Scotland at 19 to pursue her dream of travelling. This took her first to London and then onto cruise ships before she officially become “expat Kat’ and moved to Abu Dhabi where she worked at ‘Hair Works’ for almost a decade. Then, in 2011, Kat and her family moved to Singapore where the real journey began!
Kat opened Expat Hair Studio in 2014 with the goal of creating a space where stylists could express themselves individually and help to cultivate a fun, friendly salon environment.
Kat is also a Global Ambassador for the Wella Colour Team in Singapore, which she describes as a challenge and an amazing honour. Kat is an advanced cutting technician who also specialises in highlights, balayage, global colours and — her personal favourite —fixing hair disasters!
When Kat isn’t doing hair you will find her spending time with her gorgeous family or at F45!
Aaron is a graduate of both the Vidal Sassoon Academy (Santa Monica) and the Toni & Guy Academy (Singapore).
He has been in the industry for over 15 years, during which he spent six years as a Senior Educator for Toni & Guy, travelling around the region conducting seminars and training sessions for hairdressers.
Following a short stint at Rossano Ferrettie, he encountered “The Method” cut. He joined us at Expat Hair Studio and has been with us for over two years.
When Aaron isn’t doing hair you will most likely find him on the water, fishing.
With 20 years of experience, Gresi brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her work.
Graziana (Gresi to her friends) began her journey in the world of hairstyling in a picturesque town in southern Italy at the age of 16. At 23, she decided to expand her knowledge in London, exploring new opportunities and horizons. In 2019, after years of training and dedication, she challenged herself by moving to Singapore to further enhance her craft in this vibrant city.
When Gresi isn’t doing hair, she’s at the gym! Fitness, wellness, and nutrition are mantras for her.
Dior is a colour and cutting specialist.
Dior previously worked for Toni & Guy and made numerous trips to London for training; not only with Toni & Guy but also with Vidal Sassoon! Dior specialises in balayage, highlights, global colour, colour corrections, cutting and styling.
When Dior isn’t doing hair you will find him perfecting his Instagram page!
Eason is the fifth member of his family to become a hairdresser.
Growing up in Malaysia in a family of hairdressers gave Eason his passion for cutting hair from an early age.
His many years of experience in the industry has given him the skills to be a precision cutter and he can recreate the style you want.
Eason is also one of our Keratherapy Specialist so if it is a Keratin treatment you are after to tame your hair, he will take good care of you. He takes immense pride in his work and you will love his polite and down to earth nature.
When Eason isn’t being a stylist you will find him being a doting dad to his beautiful daughter or fixing up his house using his incredible DIY skills!
Union has had a very exciting career which has taken him all over the world over the last twenty years.
Union is the newest stylist to our team. His journey began with Toni & Guy in Singapore before he set his sights on London where he worked for Toni & Guy in Victoria for 15 years.
Union is an editorial stylist and has been involved in a number of shoots for Fashion Week in both London and Singapore. He specializes in precision cutting and loves creating more edgy looks from around the globe.
When he’s not in the salon Union likes to be either outdoors enjoying the sun, sea, and hiking or, on the more sedate side, going to museums and enjoying fine dining with friends.
Andrew has been in the hairdressing industry for 8 years in Singapore.
Andrew joined the Expat Hair Studio team just over three years ago. He specialises in Gent’s and Children’s cuts, Smoothing and Keratin Treatments.
When Andrew isn’t doing hair, you will find him socialising with his friends.
Priya started her career at Toni & Guy a decade ago.
Priya is a much sought after base colour technician. She has completed a wide variety of colouring courses, worked on hair collections and was an educator for students at the Toni & Guy Academy (Singapore).
Priya specialises in all aspects of hair colour – highlighting, balayage, ombre, colours, scalp bleaching, dip-dye and creative fashion colours.
Priya only does colour.
When Priya isn’t colouring hair you will find her spending time with her gorgeous baby boy and their fur baby.
Meera trained with Toni & Guy and worked for them for 13 years before joining the Expat Hair Studio team.
Meera is a passionate colourist who did an advanced colouring course in London. She is experienced working with all hair types and specialises in balayage, highlights, global and fashion colour, scalp lightening and colour corrections.
Meera only does colour & hair extensions.
When Meera isn’t working she is at home with he lovely family.
Alex hails from Singapore but has travelled the world learning about his passion.
Alex started his career with Expat Hair Studio as a trainee in 2015.
After completing his training he set his sights high and travelled to London with Sassoon. There he learned the art of Sassoon cutting and colouring. When he returned to Singapore he took various jobs to gain experience before luckily returning to our hair family in 2022.
Alex specialises in all cutting techniques, colouring, and gents cuts. Alex is of the friendliest kindest stylists around!
When he isn’t in the salon you will find Alex hanging out with his family or his girlfriend.
