Deposits

Deposits are not required for most of our services. However if you have cancelled or rescheduled your appointments for more than two times in a row, there will be a 20% deposit required to book for your next appointment. The deposit will be deducted from the bill on the day of your scheduled appointment.
For hair extension services, a 30% deposit will be required before the day of the actual service. The deposit will be deducted from the bill on the day of your scheduled appointment.

Late policy

If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible so we can try and accommodate your hair needs as best as we can. We have a 15-minute grace period, if you are 15 minutes late or more we can’t guarantee that we will be able to carry out the full service of your booking due to restricted time. This may result in your appointment having to be rescheduled.

After colour blow-dry policy
To ensure quality control and that the desired colour is achieved, we highly recommend for hair to be dried after colour services. This enables both parties to see the final results and that it meets the expectations discussed during the initial consultation. We have two types of blow dry services. A quick blast through is not chargeable. However a proper blow dry with tools will be chargeable.

Kids Cuts

We do not accept kids under the age of 5 yrs.

Keratin treatments

Results of keratin treatments vary from individual to individual. As it is a treatment, our stylists are only able to advise how the final results will look based on their experience. We at Expat Hair Studio always aim towards using chemicals that are less harsh towards hair therefore there is a possibility that you will not get your ideal results the first time around. Smoothing treatments lay on the surface of the hair, for some hair types you will only get your desired results after getting this treatment done the second time.

Keratin treatments might change the tone of your hair, there is a possibility that after the keratin service your hair might turn out looking orangey or yellow. Your hair colour might also lift a few levels lighter. We unfortunately cannot give a precise prediction based on the nature of keratin products. We recommend that you come back after a week to retone your hair to your desired shade, this service however will be chargeable.

Prices

All prices are transparent and reflected on our website based on the length and thickness of your hair. We have an additional charge for hair that is extra thick and long . This will be quoted during your consultation.

Consultations

If you have any hair related queries or are unsure of what service that you require, we provide consultations that are not chargeable. Feel free to give us a call or text and we will advise you further from there.
For clients that have not done any colour service before. We do have to implement a skin test to ensure that there are no allergic reactions to the chemical products that we carry in our brand. This is to prevent any accidents from happening as a severe allergic reaction can be fatal.

Did not meet your expectations
If we did not meet your expectations for your hair after leaving the salon, we have a 7 day policy from the date of your original appointment for you to raise any disputes. Please give us a call or text so we could aid you further.
